A five mile spread divides the first epitome from the 4th in Mini Transat – Îles de Guadeloupe. In series, it is also a ceaseless fight between the 2 Ofcet boats; along with a firm lead over forty miles ahead of the 3rd one. At this speed, the first might reach Guadeloupe as soon as afternoon of 12th November.

In prototype part, it is between Axel Tréhin and Clément Bouyssou that are racing a short distance from each other on the same side. Having an opponent hot on your heels allows for assessing the trim of the sails. Behind the 2 leaders, Frederic Denis appears to be back in control – it looks so easy for him that he could probably miss the last weekend and Rent a yacht in Croatia instead! Kept further south, he is in a great spot to get back quickly ahead of the group. Placed many hours at a lessen speed, Fred really had to puzzle out a technical trouble. All conjectures are possible, but the forty-mile vantage he had patiently been amassing faded like snow in the sun.

The 4th is none other than Méchin Ludovic, also still very much in the contention for the final win. It would be a bad turnaround for him, having been excluded of the prototypes ranking in the year 2013. More than that, a win would mean that his boat was the very first in history to have won Mini Transat 3 times.
